Pergel in measurements
Twenty students in every class, twelve benches in every lab. The teacher also sees the notebook at the back of the room.
Our school has taught in a four-storey building in Bornova since 2011. Physics, chemistry and biology have separate labs; a robotics and design workshop, an observation terrace and a library with a quiet study hall share the same roof. We take only 120 new students a year: 60 Science, 60 Anatolian.

Type your percentile or drag the slider; the assessment for each programme appears here.
This tool is not an official placement result. Cut-offs are our school's registration data from past years and change every year with quotas and applications. The values on this site are example (demo) data; the school enters its own data in the admin panel.

How to read the percentile on your LGS result
The most discussed number on the LGS result is the percentile. How it differs from the score, how to compare it with schools' cut-offs, and what to watch when building your list.

Sleep in exam season: how many hours does a teenager need?
Sleep is the first thing sacrificed in practice-exam week. Teenagers' sleep needs, why they tend to fall asleep late, and a small routine for home during exam season.
What parents ask most
Questions asked again every year at admissions meetings, with answers.
-
Can we register before the LGS?
Pre-registration can be done before the LGS and is not binding. Final registration and scholarships are decided by percentile after the LGS results. Students who did not sit the exam or come from abroad have a separate assessment meeting. -
Why does the cut-off percentile change every year?
The cut-off is the lowest percentile among students who registered that year. Because applications, quotas and the difficulty of the LGS change every year, so does the cut-off. Read the values in the LGS tool as past information, not as a promise. -
Do you accept transfers into higher grades?
When there are places, we accept transfers into grades 9, 10 and 11. A transfer application needs the student's report card and a short intro meeting. -
Can students switch between the Science and Anatolian programmes?
At the end of grade 9, at the student's and parent's request and if there is a place in the other programme. Subjects with different weekly hours are caught up in summer school.
