Anatolian High School programme

The same maths and science core, a more balanced week, and language and social science electives.

Anatolian High School programme — Pergel High School20 students / class
Fig. 1 Maths and science are taught by the same teachers as the Science programme, one hour less per week. From grade 10, electives by track: equal weight, verbal or languages.

The Anatolian High School programme is for students who want to go deeper into languages, literature and social sciences without losing touch with science and maths. Maths and science are taught by the same teachers as the Science programme; the difference is in weekly hours and the electives after grade 10.

The second foreign language is German, starting in grade 9. The debate club and the writing workshop are a natural part of the programme: every term students write a position paper and defend it in class.

Track choice is made at the end of grade 10. Until then students may also join olympiad groups and the project club; no door closes because of the programme.
