A plan for four years
Our guidance service starts in the first week of grade 9, not in grade 12. Every student has a four-year file, updated each term with the student, parent and counsellor.

Step by step
Each grade has a different focus. The steps are of equal height: no year is "more important" than another.

How preparation works
Practice exam calendar. Monthly in grade 11, weekly in grade 12. Results are read topic by topic with the subject teacher; rankings are not posted.
Study hours. Every weekday 16:00–17:30 subject teachers are in class; students join the study hour of the subject they choose.
Individual file. Practice results, target departments and the study plan are in one file; parents see it twice a term.
No outside tutoring needed. The programme is built so that tutoring centres are not needed. For students who still want extra support we write their own plan together.
Principles of guidance
Confidentiality
What a student tells the counsellor is not shared even with the form teacher without the student's consent, except where reporting is legally required.
No rankings
Practice exam results are not ranked and posted. A student compares only with their own previous result.
Parent partnership
At the start and end of each term the parent, student and counsellor sit at the same table.
Referral
The guidance service does not diagnose; when specialist support is needed it refers the family to the right institution.
